We are excited for the contributions one will make to our community as a volunteer. As a part of this community, a volunteer's participation in helping us fulfill our mission and to building community at UCSD is invaluable. The Women's Center is nothing more than an empty space without the dedication that so many students, staff, faculty, and community members have put into making it a thriving, alive, and always growing space.
The Women's Center's history is rooted in the hard work of volunteers. The need for a Women's Center was conceived of by student volunteers who fought to make their dream a reality. As a volunteer you would be continuing this legacy of dedication to the Women's Center and the commitment to social justice that the Center represents.
We hope that volunteering at the Women's Center will allow you the opportunity to further explore your passions, cultivate your skills, and contribute to promoting an inclusive and equitable campus community.
