genderGender Buffet
Every Friday at the Women's Center beginning October 6th!
Fall Quarter: 11:00am - 12:30pm.

Everyone is welcome! We'll provide the space, the host, and the FREE FOOD. You just have to be interested in discussing gender and sexuality as they relate to everyday life on and off campus.

yarnYarn Factory

Grab those needles and head on down to the Women's Center for some socializing through knitting, dialogue, and fun. On Wednesday, October 11 we will have a lesson for those of you who want to pick up crocheting.

The Yarn Factory takes place on the second Wednesday of each month, from 12pm -1:30pm at the Women's Center (Original Student Center, West Bldg. 290)

Bring your own knitting needles, crochet hooks, and yarn (we will have a limited amount available for a small donation) and we'll provide the snacks, and resources for those of you just starting out. Beginning and experienced yarn enthusiasts are welcomed.

Meetings of Interest

Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance, UCSD Chapter
Wednesdays at 4:30pm
@ the Women's Center

The Feminist Majority Leadership Alliance is a brand new student organization starting at UCSD. We are affliated with the largerst feminist non-profit in the nation, the Feminist Majority Foundation. Our first campaign will be "Changing the Face of Feminism" in which we will break down the stereotypes of feminists and educate the UCSD community as to what feminism is and who feminists are. We are dedicated to changing the ways in which people think about feminists and the feminist movement and hope that all of you will get involved in this campaign. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to email ucsdfmla@yahoo.com. Visit their web page at http://stuorg.ucsd.edu/~ucsdfmla for updates and information.
