Volunteer Program
The 2026-27 volunteer application process is underway and ends by September 4, 2026. Since we have 75 people on our waitlist and 5 year-long volunteer positions available, we are unable to extend application invitations to all interested volunteers. Please add your contact information to the Women's Center Volunteer Interest List using your UCSD email and you will be contacted to apply to the program as positions become available.
Interested in getting involved with the Women’s Center? We are looking for volunteers to assist with covering the Women's Center front desk reception area! The position is open to all UC San Diego undergraduate students.
The Women’s Center’s is rooted in the hard work of volunteers. Our Volunteer Program seeks to provide undergraduate students with opportunities to further explore their passions, cultivate their skills, and contribute to promoting an inclusive and equitable campus community.
Through this program, volunteers will:
- Develop valuable skills and experiences that can enhance your resume
- Gain insight on working at a campus Women’s Center
- Expand your knowledge of feminism, social justice, and gender issues
- Grow your social network by meeting new people and working with Women’s Center staff
- Contribute to the mission and work of the Women’s Center
- Have an opportunity to earn Co-Curricular Record (CCR) recognition
Requirements
- Must be a UC San Diego undergraduate student
- Commit to at least three hours a week working at the Women's Center front desk reception area
- Must be able to commit to volunteering for the entire academic year, from September 2026-June 2027
- Attend all required volunteer meetings
- Attend a Volunteer Orientation Session
